AERUS OFFICIAL RESTORATION PROGRAM

Restoration Service is recommended for machines 5 years and older.
Cost:  $283.59

WHAT DO YOU GET for THAT?
*  We dissemble the motor and clean all of its component parts.
*  We perform a run-in procedure.
*  We replenish the bearing oil.
*  We clean the exterior of your machine.
*  We inspect all electrical functions.
*  We tune up its motor.
*  Overall restoration of your machine.

*  We replace the brush.
The chevron--shaped wooden brush digs up more dirt that any other brush on the market.  It will never give you the burning plastic smell that other brushes have.  Constant spinning creates friction which causes the plastic brushes to heat up and produce that burning smell.  Over time these plastic brushes need to be replaced, just as a toothbrush needs replacing after months of use.

*  We replace the pre-filter.  The pre-filter is essential to keeping your motor in excellent working condition and to keep air circulating through the machine for optimum suction and function.

*  We change the belt.  Electrolux belts have never been known to break down because they are made of tough fiber instead of your average rubber that will stretch and break.  However, even our Electrolux belts will need to be replaced because over time because the teeth can get worn down.

NOTE:  Customer can choose to do individual services listed in restoration service.  Restoration service is meant to be a universal package that will fully restore machines to optimum working power.  All other repairs will be evaluated by service technician and always approved by customer, of course.

FREE, 10-POINT SERVICE CHECK.  THAT'S RIGHT, FREE!

COST:  Free.  That's right, no charge to Electrolux customers.

Check the following items on the upright/canister:

1)  We check the engine for rust and general wear.  Motor and mechanical parts move, which means they tend to wear out over time.  It's an unfortunate purchase, but parts do need to be replaced.  If they're fine, which most of them are on my inspections, I will tell you.  I will not upsell you on a parts that are perfectly fine.
2)  I will check your filters, HEPA and after-filter.  Honestly, I often find that these need replacing.  People either don't have extra filters in stock and so don't think to check them or don't know to check them.
3)  I will turn your motor on to make sure all the wiring is firing all of the electrical parts.  I will check your light indicator, making sure that what it lights up is actually telling the truth.
4)  I will check to see if the motor inside the power nozzle turn on.
5)  I will check the reset button 3 times.
6)  Check to see if the machine has any indicator lights on.
7)  I will check the cord re-winder to see it if it is working properly.
8)  I will check the bristles on your brush roller to see if they are worn and soft or firm and relatively new.
9)  I will perform a "Ball Test."  This test checks the suction on your vacuum.  A lot of older vacuums and used vacuums generally pick up only 2 of the 4 balls.  A new vacuum picks all 4 metal balls quite easily.
10)  I will perform a cloth test to see how much dirt your vacuum is picking up.  I have seen these "Cloth Tests" performed in very clean homes only to find an adequate amount of dirt show up on the cloth.  It's no trick. What you do not want me to do is perform a "Cloth Test" with one of our new vacuums, like the Classic.
